This morning at 4:22a.m. I woke from a deep sleep and heard Paris talking and the TV on in the other room. I walked out of my bedroom and found this:
Cooper told me that he heard Paris crying in her bed and coughing - she has a cold and can't sleep - so he got her up and took her downstairs to watch a movie. He assured me that I could go back to bed - he would take care of Paris until she felt better. This sounded good for a little while so I did go back to bed but of course I couldn't sleep because I was listening to see what would happen. After about 20 minutes Paris started sounding tired so I got up and put her back to bed and forced Cooper to turn off his movie and go back to sleep.
This is just an example of what a great helper Cooper is with Paris. He will often get her up while I am still sleeping and take care of her. He also puts her in the carseat and stroller and feeds her or helps her stop crying. I am pretty much ready to hire him as the full-time nanny and pursue my career of some sort.

That is SOOO sweet! I'm sorry Paris is sick. Shaela was up off and on from 3:00 but I was the only one taking care of her!
All I can say is, WOW! Cooper is such a mature seven-year-old! I wish some of it would rub off on Tyler—tonight I gave him five minutes of instruction on how to shut my door tomorrow morning and get Cameron out of bed himself if he wants TV time to last until 10 am. I'm sure he won't remember any of it (except the TV time until 10 part. :>)
You're lucky to have him! He's a great big brother!
What a great big brother! You are raising a great dad-to-be.
That's so funny! What a good helper!
That is so awesome! It makes the times they quarrel seem trivial. Cooper is a great big brother!

Very cute and funny Shanda. I miss you! You need to visit, or we need to visit you--soon!
Love Sarah
What a sweet big brother! I remember Austin would always let me sleep with him when i got scared at night. instead of running to my mom and dad--I would run to him. Just kind of reminded me of Coop taking care of Paris. She must be in good hands. :) I am pretty sure Connor would NEVER get up and out of bed at 4am to help Eli feel better if he were sick!! :)
I saw Austin's parents yesterday at church and was very proud to be the one to tell them this story, as though your adorable angels were my own. :)
What a good kid! There's no way I'd find Michael doing that (Maddi--maybe--Michael--no). I'm impressed you were able to find your camera so bright and early... :)
I love those moments. What a proud mommy and daddy moment. He is such a sweet big brother. You should be so proud of yourselves and him.
