Dirty Little Secret

I have a dirty little secret and I guess it is time to share. Here it is - I LOVE SHOPPING AT GOODWILL! I love finding "hidden treasures" for super good prices. I love looking at the furniture to see if there is anything I can repaint in fun colors. We also look at the toys and books. Don't worry, I'm not a packrat - more of a thrower-awayer so it is a ton of digging through stuff I don't want to find a couple really exciting things once in awhile. And today I think I hit the bonanza! It was this -

I've been in the market for a new purse and this was an amazing find. I actually thought it was just someone's purse they left on a random chair - not one for sale. It even has lots of pockets and a cute lining. It is basically brand new. Guess how much I spent on this little gem - $2.99.

Probably enough bargain shopping posts for today. Just revealing my uncool ghetto side to the world.

Okay, so maybe I'm going to start shopping there! Wow--beats NYC, eh? :)

I love digging for hidden treasures at Good Will too! I just don't like to take along all my "helpers"--they don't seem to appreciate it like i do. ;)

I still think my favorite find of yours is the framed spoon. maybe you should post a pic of that! :)

My dirty little secret is Ross. Every single thing I own and wear comes from Ross, and often on clearance. I LOVE ROSS!

Do you love it? I love it! I got it at Ross! (cue commercial music.)

I call it Ross Dress for Jess.

That was a STEAL! I have loved the salvation army since I was a kid. I used to go there to buy worn out jeans. It was my secret place :)

Hi!
I'm blog stalking! Just found your blog from the Jolleys. I love Goodwill too. I never tell Danny what I find there because he hates the idea of “used” so I just don’t tell him. :) I found a great pair of new shoes a few weeks ago from Nordstrom’s for $2. They are now my favs. I'll send you an email to our blog.

Um, buying recycled goods is not "ghetto." It's GREEN. You're reusing something instead of throwing it out. I always feel proud of myself when I think to look for something I need at a thrift store before buying it new! That bag is great, by the way!
