Dirty Little Secret

I have a dirty little secret and I guess it is time to share. Here it is - I LOVE SHOPPING AT GOODWILL! I love finding "hidden treasures" for super good prices. I love looking at the furniture to see if there is anything I can repaint in fun colors. We also look at the toys and books. Don't worry, I'm not a packrat - more of a thrower-awayer so it is a ton of digging through stuff I don't want to find a couple really exciting things once in awhile. And today I think I hit the bonanza! It was this -



I've been in the market for a new purse and this was an amazing find. I actually thought it was just someone's purse they left on a random chair - not one for sale. It even has lots of pockets and a cute lining. It is basically brand new. Guess how much I spent on this little gem - $2.99.

Probably enough bargain shopping posts for today. Just revealing my uncool ghetto side to the world.

One of the Cutest Things I Have Seen Lately

Paris' hair is finally long enough for pigtails in the back and she is holding still enough for me to put them in! I love looking at the back of her little head with her pigtails. It is so adorable to me.

Two Things That are Making Me Happy Today

I love my new bookmark. I have been wanting one for years that would stay in my books and not get crumbled up and lost behind my bed like the million random pieces of paper and blue library cards that I usually use. This one is metal and heavy so it doesn't get lost and don't you love the little charms on the end. $5.99 at Borders for sheer bliss.




I have been a Costco member for years and come from a long line of loyal Costco members and I have been so infuriated for the last few years that I don't get the coupons in the mail. I have to listen to all my friends talking about their Costco coupons that they got in the mail and I never got them! (My life is very exciting I know) So finally after several emails and enquiries I finally got my coupons in the mail! Life is GREAT!

The Right One for Will

This morning I ran 5 miles with my friends Alison and Michelle and I told Will about it later. He said, "Did Kennedy and London (alison's daughters) come?" "No, it was just the moms," I said. Then he told me he REALLY likes Kennedy. I said, "Why do you like her? Because she is nice, or fun, or pretty? (this particular little girl is GORGEOUS)"
"Yeah, because she is pretty," Will said. I then asked him if he likes a few other girls that he knows from church.
"Yeah, I like those girls too," he said, "but they aren't the right ones for me. Kennedy is the right one for me."
Good to know who the right one for you is when you are 5! Now he just has to convince Kennedy that he is the right one for her.

By the way, Kennedy is two years older and definitely a hottie!
