cooper is a baseball maniac!

Cooper has played baseball this fall through MARA and he is on the blue jays team (coach pitch). It has been an amazing season, so far Cooper has scored 3 home runs and their team took first place in the league! It has been fun to watch him play - he is in a league with 6-8 year olds so he is actually one of the smaller guys. The boys are such wonderful players on the field but when they are in the dugout singing, or get hurt and cry, you can tell they are just little boys still. Austin is totally into the league and gets super stressed before each game. It's fun to watch him so proud of his son.

Will at School!

Will loves to dress in sports gear for all occasions - just in case a game should break out at any moment - he would be ready. Since Cooper has been playing baseball this fall, Will is very into the baseball pants ensemble! This is an outfit he put together to wear to school today. 10/25/07

McKeehan Family Update

As I am entering the 21st century and starting our family blog, I thought I would give a quick update on our family. We have been living in Charlotte, North Carolina for the last 3 1/2 years. Austin finished his MBA at the University of Michigan and then got a job with Bank of America in supply chain. We have three children - Cooper age 6 - who loves sports and reading and is a very active 1st grader! Will - age 4 - loves sports also and dressing appropriately for each of them, also making sure that he is ALWAYS dressed in sports gear - even at school! Paris is our baby girl - she is almost 6 months old and loves to smile and roll all over the floor.

I am enjoying being a mom and learning lots of patience! I also teach piano and love to exercise, read, scrapbook, knit, sew, crochet, etc. - any of the "old grandma crafts" Austin says.

Will The Thrill

Will is an amazing kid. He will cheer for anything with you as long as you let him dress up in the proper attire for the occassion. This is an old picture of Will and I cheering on Oregon State in route to the first of their back to back Baseball National Championships (2006 & 2007). Will's Poppy used to play baseball for Oregon State, His great grandparents still live in Corvalis so we have cheered for the beavers for a long time.
